The painful reality of life with fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a complex condition, some feel excruciating pain over their entire body, complaints such as low energy, breathing difficulties, sleep disturbances and more. There are many support groups that can assist with further information, however the Eastern medicinal perspective for treatment is very different, Acupuncture treatment is proving more popular and very useful. Acupuncture is known to help support patients that suffer from FM, a nice citing was recently placed in the Daily Mail, below are the recent results of a patient that came in for treatment for FM into my own practice. 5 treatments were conducted. The areas being measured were
1) Back pain shooting into the head
2) Breathing
3) Activity -Walking
4) Overall wellbeing over the week
The results showed significant improvements over the course of the treatments.
